Damon Hill

Damon Hill is a British former racing driver who won the Formula 1 World Championship in 1996 with Williams. He is the only son of a World Champion to also win the title, following his father, double champion Graham Hill.

Hill rose to prominence with Williams in the early 1990s, battling Michael Schumacher across several tense seasons before clinching the championship in 1996. He later drove for Arrows — coming agonisingly close to a famous win in Hungary in 1997 — and Jordan, for whom he scored the team's first Grand Prix victory at Spa in 1998.

Since retiring he has been a prominent television pundit and served as president of the British Racing Drivers' Club.
