Ricciardo interested in Le Mans entry with Verstappen
Daniel Ricciardo has said he would like to end his racing career at Le Mans with Max Verstappen as a team-mate. Verstappen, however, is not convinced the idea would be straightforward to make happen.
Reports from multiple Formula 1 outlets say Daniel Ricciardo is interested in a future appearance at the Le Mans 24 Hours. Ricciardo indicated he would like to finish his racing career there and named Max Verstappen as a desired team-mate.
The story has been framed as a possible reunion between the former Red Bull team-mates. One report also said Ricciardo mentioned former Red Bull drivers he would like to share a car with.
Verstappen's response was more cautious. According to The Race, he is not sure the plan is viable, describing that uncertainty as a hurdle to any potential Le Mans reunion.
