Perez to miss Mexico GP fan and media appearances due to illness
Cadillac has confirmed that Sergio Perez is unwell ahead of his home Formula 1 race in Mexico and will not attend scheduled fan and media activities. He is still expected to take part in Friday’s two practice sessions at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
Sergio Perez will miss pre-event appearances at the Mexico Grand Prix after Cadillac confirmed he is feeling unwell ahead of his home race. The team said he will not take part in the fan forum and will also skip his Friday media duties.
Despite that change to his off-track schedule, Perez is still expected to drive in both Friday practice sessions at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
His absence from those activities follows team-mate Valtteri Bottas missing Thursday media day because of illness.
