Mekies rejects Horner’s claim about Red Bull’s form
Laurent Mekies has pushed back on Christian Horner’s suggestion that Red Bull has "lost its mojo" since his departure. Mekies said the team’s spirit has instead helped deliver what he described as a very remarkable turnaround.

Laurent Mekies, Red Bull Racing’s CEO and team principal, has rejected Christian Horner’s claim that the Milton Keynes-based team has "lost its mojo" since Horner’s exit.
Horner, who left Red Bull in July 2025 after two decades in charge, made the comment while promoting his memoir, Drive, which was published last week, including in an interview with The Times.
In response, Mekies said Red Bull’s spirit remains intact and insisted it has been a key factor in what he called a "very remarkable" turnaround for the team.
