Marc Marquez, the defending MotoGP champion, won the sprint race at Aragon. He took control of the race after overtaking title rival Marco Bezzecchi.
The result was described as a Marquez one-two in the first Aragon race. Marquez's sprint victory also allowed him to regain ground in the MotoGP title battle.
One report also noted that the biggest standout performance came from further down the order, beyond the leading battle.
