The FIA has lifted restrictions on individuals from Russia and Belarus taking part in international motorsport competitions.
The restrictions had been introduced in 2022 in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. One report said the ban on Russians competing in motorsport was lifted without explanation.
The change means the previous limits on participation for affected drivers and teams have been removed.
