Gasly content with seventh after starting from pole at Monza

Pierre Gasly reflected positively on his Monza weekend after taking pole position and then finishing seventh for Alpine at the Italian Grand Prix. Multiple reports said he was satisfied with the result and did not view the drop from pole to P7 as a disappointment.

Gasly described the event as a wild weekend, with one report highlighting his comment that it was the “story of my life”. The overall outcome was still presented as a strong weekend for him at Monza.

Alpine also left Monza with points from its other car. Team mate Franco Colapinto recovered from a costly mistake during the weekend to score points.
