Robert Wood Johnson buys minority stake in Aston Martin F1 team
Aston Martin has sold a minority stake in its Formula 1 team to Robert Wood Johnson. The American businessman and former US ambassador to the United Kingdom will also join the team’s board as vice chairman.

Aston Martin has sold a minority stake in its Formula 1 team to Robert Wood Johnson, the former US ambassador to the United Kingdom.
Johnson is a US billionaire and an heir to the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical business. He also owns the New York Jets NFL team.
As part of the deal, Johnson will join Aston Martin Formula 1 team’s board of directors as vice chairman.
