Hulkenberg describes 'scary' near-miss with Bortoleto in Dutch Grand Prix

Hulkenberg reacted to a high-speed incident involving Audi team-mate Gabriel Bortoleto during the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort. Bortoleto spun at speed, and Hulkenberg later said the moment was "scary" and that he felt like "a passenger".

Hulkenberg said avoiding a major collision came down to a combination of luck and judgement. The race took place in conditions that were still damp after a pre-race shower, although the track was dry enough for slick tyres.

The incident unfolded during a race weekend in which Max Verstappen also suffered a heavy crash at the end of lap one in the final banked corner.
