Colapinto responds after Clarkson remark at US Grand Prix
Franco Colapinto has responded after Jeremy Clarkson made a controversial comment about him during the United States Grand Prix weekend. The remark also prompted a strong reaction from Colapinto’s manager.
Jeremy Clarkson, who was a guest of Alpine at the United States Grand Prix, made the comment during a Saturday interview with Sky Sports F1. He joked that Colapinto should get a grid penalty for being Argentinian.
The remark was widely reported as controversial and drew a passionate response from Colapinto’s manager, which was described as calling the reaction unacceptable. Colapinto has since given his own response to the incident.
The reports do not add further detail here on what Colapinto said, but they agree that he has now publicly addressed Clarkson’s comment.
