Verstappen commits to Red Bull through 2030

Verstappen's contract extension with Red Bull until the end of 2030 was one of the main talking points in the paddock ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort. Formula 1 said the new agreement ended speculation about his future and keeps him with Red Bull for at least the rest of the decade.

According to Formula 1, the extension puts Verstappen on course to set the record for the longest spell with one team in Formula 1. Verstappen also said he did not need to race in "another colour" and described Red Bull as "family."
