Verstappen extends Red Bull deal through 2030

According to Formula1.com, the new agreement commits Verstappen to Red Bull until at least the end of 2030 and ends speculation about his future. The same report said the deal puts him on course to set the record for the longest stint with a single team.

Other outlets said the extension has wider implications for the driver market, with The Race reporting it all but rules out major changes among Formula 1's top four teams for 2027. BBC Sport reported Verstappen said he was "closer to retiring" from Formula 1 than changing teams, while RaceFans said he had considered whether he wanted to remain in the series.
