Lewis Hamilton is a British racing driver competing for Ferrari in the FIA Formula One World Championship. A seven-time World Champion, he holds the all-time records for the most race wins and pole positions in the sport's history.
Hamilton burst onto the scene with McLaren in 2007, narrowly missing the title as a rookie before winning his first championship in 2008. His move to Mercedes in 2013 proved transformative, yielding six titles and an era of sustained dominance during the hybrid era.
