Biography
Oscar Piastri is an Australian racing driver competing for McLaren in the FIA Formula One World Championship. He arrived in F1 with a remarkable junior record, winning the Formula Renault Eurocup, the FIA Formula 3 Championship and the Formula 2 Championship in successive seasons.
After a season on the sidelines as reserve driver, Piastri made his race debut with McLaren in 2023 and quickly impressed, taking a sprint win and his first Grand Prix victory in 2024.
Calm and analytical beyond his years, Piastri has formed a formidable partnership with team-mate Lando Norris at the resurgent McLaren team.
