Biography
Fernando Alonso is a Spanish racing driver competing for Aston Martin in the FIA Formula One World Championship. A two-time World Champion, he won consecutive titles with Renault in 2005 and 2006, ending Ferrari's period of dominance.
One of the most complete and experienced drivers in the sport's history, Alonso has raced for Minardi, Renault, McLaren, Ferrari and Aston Martin across a career spanning more than two decades. Outside F1 he has won the Le Mans 24 Hours twice and the World Endurance Championship.
Renowned for his racecraft, tyre management and sheer determination, Alonso remains a fierce competitor and one of the grid's most respected figures.
